Construction Jobs in Camrose, AB

Border Paving Ltd. is currently hiring for select seasonal road construction and paving crew positions for the 2026 construction season. Candidates with construction experience, equipment experience, Class 3 licenses, or Q endorsements are strongly encouraged to apply.

These positions involve working outdoors in varying conditions and are a good fit for individuals who are reliable, safety minded and comfortable with seasonal construction work.

Job Responsibilities include

• Work as part of an urban road construction crew on a variety of projects
• Follow company safety policies and safe work procedures
• Interact professionally with the public
• Load, unload and move construction materials around the site
• Follow Alberta Transportation Traffic Accommodation in Work Zones requirements
• Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance
• Work with hot mix, cold mix asphalt and gravel materials
• Assist with grading and slope control
• Mark manholes and water valves as required
• Perform raking duties (including joints and seams) and communicate with roller operators to achieve quality results
• Perform general labour duties

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License required
• Class 3 and/or Q Endorsement (Airbrakes) are considered strong assets
• Previous asphalt or construction experience is an asset
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Current driver's abstract required prior to hire
