Job descriptionHandle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas. Work on a wide variety of buildings, structures and premises including municipal sewer and water mains, roads, dams and bridges, tunnels, railways and canals. Remove rubble and other debris. Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at construction sites. Prepare and clean up construction sites, move materials and equipment, and perform demolition, excavation and compaction activities. Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at construction sites. Work on a wide variety of buildings, structures and premises including municipal sewer and water mains, roads, dams and bridges, tunnels, railways and canals. 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience required. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020), WHMIS 2015, and ground disturbance 201 are required . You have experience in using compactors, and trampers. (jumping jack) You are able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg. You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team. A reliable means of transportation is required. Proficient English language skills required. A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.

Key Information :
- Must have 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience.
- Must be able handle and distribute construction materials to and from work areas.
- Hours : Based on a 44-hour work week; however, overtime is required during the busy season.
- Must be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed.
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
- Health benefits and vacation pay offered.
