Job Description : We are seeking a meticulous and innovative Configuration Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating routing clusters within our system to optimize our delivery routes. In addition to this you will lend support to the Routing Team as required and assist in the practical aspects of route creation. Your attention to detail, commitment to continuous improvement, and forward-thinking attitude will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain routing clusters to support the creation of delivery routes.
- Assist the optimization team in route configuration using in-house Intelcom / Dragonfly software.
- Create Routes as required
- Utilize GIS systems to analyze and optimize delivery routes.
- Ensure accurate and efficient use of Postal Codes / FSAs in routing processes.
- Solve technical problems related to route configuration and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to understand and improve last mile delivery operations.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement software enhancements.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
- Write and update technical documentation and user guides.
- Assisting in all other duties as required
