Job descriptionAssess work orders according to the Alberta Legislation Guidelines Meet with customers and communicate who will be responsible for repairs Maintain good relationships with customers Skillfully complete the repairs required Ensure health, safety, and environmental procedures on site are adhered to in accordance with legislation and company policies Excellent time management skills Trained on the use of power tools and physically capable of operating heavier duty tools, such as a drill core machine and floor grinder Proactive communicator Positive attitude Ability to work independently and, if necessary, in a team environment Good organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor Competitive Wage - approx. $30 / hour depending on experience Positive workplace culture and team building opportunities Comprehensive health and dental benefits after two years Matching Registered Pension Plan after two years

A-1 Cement is seeking an experienced concrete repair technician. A skilled tradesperson with knowledge and experience in concrete repair, concrete cutting and breaking out.
Who we are
Serving as concrete contractors in Calgary and surrounding areas, we specialize in the management and installation of concrete flatworks for home builders, homeowners and commercial builders. Since 1956, A-1 Cement has been a leader in concrete flatworks and gravel services. As a team, we believe in stepping up to do the right thing and we strive to deliver excellence in all products and services for our clients. We service what we produce.
Who you are
- You are experienced in the concrete industry and have a wide variety of trade experience.
- You have experience with many types of concrete repair including patching, skimming, resurfacing.
- You have a great understanding of residential construction practices and quality standards.
- You are professional, personable, and strive to provide high quality work.
- You must have a valid drivers license and clean driving abstract is required.
- Relevant education in concrete flatworks.
- Knowledge of concrete products used for repair and service work as well asconcrete placing and finishing experience.
