Job description

Tasks

  • Supervise and engage production teams while ensuring the application of the collective agreement.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety standards by acting as a role model on the production floor.
  • Motivate the team to achieve targets related to safety, quality, productivity, and schedule compliance.
  • Ensure the efficient execution of the production schedule in collaboration with planning.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department to plan and organize equipment interventions.
  • Contribute to department budget preparation and development strategies.
  • Lead the training plan and the team’s skills matrix.
  • Determine staffing needs based on workload planning.
  • Participate in various support tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
  • DEC (college diploma) in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong computer skills and an interest in technology.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
