AFIMAC CanadaGravenhurst, Ontario, CA- Full-time
AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Supervisors for upcoming assignments related to labour disruptions, organized protests and man made crisis/disasters.
This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.
You will earn:
- $25 per hour before over-time
- Up to $5,200 bi-weekly (based on 84 hour work week)
- Paid travel up to 4 hours
- Hotel accommodation provided when required
- $30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required
- Temporary Contracts: 1-120 days
AFIMAC Supervisors are deployed to various types of assignments including:
- Labour Disruptions
- Organized protests
- Man made crisis/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Supervisory or leadership experience in the Security field
- Former military, emergency management, project management or law enforcement experience an asset
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to projects for extended periods of time
- Ability to work 84 hours per week: 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent organization and computer skills
- Able to work in a high stress environment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Able to deploy on short notice (as projects dictate)
- Able to manage investigators and security personnel deployed in the field.
- Ability to train, motivate and improve staff performance
- Ability to professionally manage staff conflicts
- Ability to work with a diverse group of staff
- Clean criminal record
- Valid drivers license and vehicle
Experience:
- Previous supervisory experience in the security field preferred
Language:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Security License (preferred)
- Private Investigator License (preferred)
- Class 5 or Class G Drivers License (required)
