Responsibilities
The aim of Global Business Service Unit (GBTO) Canada is to deliver day-to-day services to Société Générale investment and corporate bank units and their clients to accelerate their transformation. GBTO differentiates itself from competitors with the pace of the agile transformation delivered, spreading the technology and data culture, shortening the decision-making process, and adopting a true industrial approach, leveraging on different teams either transversal or aligned to the different sub business units.
Within GBTO, our team oversees regulatory reporting and trading applications. We cover development, operation, and support for these applications, while adhering to agile and DevOps principles. Our team has the privilege of working in close collaboration with our stakeholders and a multitude of other teams.
Your DAY-TO-DAY
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Participate in development & implementing high quality application : backend business logic module, API and User Interfaces (UI's).
- Implement, test and deliver functionalities according to our standards and following the Continuous Integration process.
- Provide support on day-to-day operations supporting Defect, Problem, and Crisis processes.
- Be an active member of the team, participate in daily agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to the team continuous improvement through communication, documentation, and automation.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Language
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
