Reporting to the Project Manager, the MEP Coordinator (Electrical) will support the coordination of electrical systems during the design phase.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Coordinate electrical design activities across disciplines.
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
  • Support design development and technical coordination.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary design meetings.
  • Identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Ensure integration of electrical systems within the overall design.
  • Track design progress and support project timelines.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing technical deliverables.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience coordinating electrical systems during design phases.
  • Experience in hydroelectric projects is a major asset.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Excellent proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, MS Project).
