Job description

Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for an Employee Engagement and Communication Specialist, as part of the Human Resources team, based in Toronto.

Reporting to the Talent Manager, the person in this role will play a pivotal part in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee satisfaction, and strengthening employee engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of several corporate internal communication strategies and tasks, such as employer talent branding, employee engagement, organizational change announcements, DEI communications, and company-wide meetings, as well as partnering with stakeholders on various employee engagement and communication initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Establish and execute proactive communications and employer brand strategies that promote Esri Canada as an employer of choice
  • Create, manage, and execute strategies to strengthen social employee engagement and the employee value proposition (EVP). Partner with recruitment, marketing and other stakeholders on execution.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Human Resources and the executive management team as well as different departments across the company to co-create and deliver transparent internal communications about key initiatives and monthly company updates by using various forms of communication and platforms.
  • Improve and maintain internal communications process’ including newsletters, announcements and updates.
  • Administer and evaluate the Annual Employee Survey and communicate results?
  • Provide support with developing employee / pulse surveys, including survey design, gathering insights, analyzing information, identifying gaps and providing recommendations for change based on feedback
  • Create communications to promote Esri Canada’s employer brand on social media, internal channels, job postings, recruitment messages, candidate collateral and Esri.ca career site
  • Manage social media engagement metrics to measure success (e.g., , Talent Insights, Glassdoor), report findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify and participate in external benchmarking programs and surveys to raise Esri Canada’s profile as a great place to work such as, Great Place to Work, Canada’s Top Employers, etc.
  • Develop print and video news and feature stories for internal and external channels that promote Esri Canada’s employer brand.
  • Maintain ongoing understanding of business initiatives and strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements for this role :

  • 5+ years of progressive experience developing and implementing communications programs using a full range of media in support of corporate initiatives
  • Proficiency in SharePoint with experience building, maintaining and managing intranet sites.
  • Able to build, manage, and optimize marketing, internal communications, and / or creative talent branding strategies
  • A self-starter with the ability to challenge status quo, engage and influence others while working under minimum supervision
  • Advanced level writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information and to transform learning into an appealing easy-to-understand story
  • Ability to navigate in a complex environment while managing multiple projects
  • Advanced user of various communications software, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online intranet platform, social media applications and content management systems
  • Skilled in graphic design, with a focus on designing intranet content and PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to build strong relationships across various functions to execute projects effectively

    Esri Canada est à la recherche d’une ou d’un spécialiste des communications et de l’engagement des employés travaillant au sein de l’équipe des ressources humaines.     La ou le spécialiste des communications et de l’engagement des employés devra mener à bien les tâches suivantes :

  • Établir et exécuter des communications proactives et des stratégies de marque d’employeur qui font la promotion d’Esri Canada en tant qu’employeur de choix.
  • Créer, gérer et exécuter des stratégies visant à renforcer la proposition de valeur de l’employeur (PVE), en partenariat avec les équipes affectées au recrutement et au marketing, ainsi qu’avec d’autres parties prenantes aux fins d’exécution.
  • Collaborer avec la directrice ou le directeur des ressources humaines et l’équipe de direction, ainsi qu’avec les différents services de l’entreprise, pour cocréer et diffuser des communications internes transparentes sur les initiatives clés et les mises à jour mensuelles de l’entreprise, en utilisant divers moyens et plateformes de communication.
  • Mener le sondage annuel auprès des employés.
  • Soutenir les communications et les initiatives en matière de diversité, d’équité et d’inclusion (DEI).
  • Contribuer à l’élaboration des sondages auprès des employés et des sondages d’opinion, notamment la conception, la collecte des renseignements, la synthèse des résultats et l’élaboration de changements en fonction des tendances dégagées des commentaires.
  • Diriger la diffusion de l’accroche narrative de la marque employeur d’Esri Canada sur les médias sociaux, les canaux internes, les offres d’emploi, les messages de recrutement, la documentation destinée aux candidats et le site de carrières Esri.ca.
  • Recommander et faire appliquer de manière proactive des améliorations qui ont une incidence positive sur l’expérience du candidat.
  • Gérer les paramètres d’interaction dans les médias sociaux afin de mesurer le succès (par exemple, sur , Talent Insights et Glassdoor), faire des rapports sur les résultats et recommander des améliorations.
  • Saisir les occasions extérieures de rehausser le profil d’Esri Canada en tant qu’endroit où il fait bon travailler (par exemple, les prix accordés aux entreprises à ce chapitre).
  • Produire des nouvelles imprimées et vidéo et des articles de fond pour les canaux internes et externes afin de promouvoir la marque employeur d’Esri Canada.

  • Au moins trois (5) ans d’expérience progressive pertinente.
  • Bilinguisme (maîtrise de l’anglais et du français).
  • Expérience avérée dans l’élaboration, la gestion et l’optimisation de stratégies de marketing, de communication interne ou de valorisation des talents créatifs.
  • Autonomie et capacité de remettre en question le statu quo, ainsi que de mobiliser et d’influencer les autres tout en travaillant sous une supervision minimale.
  • Capacité d’analyser et de synthétiser des informations complexes et de transformer l’apprentissage en un récit attrayant et facile à comprendre.
  • Capacité avérée à naviguer dans un environnement complexe tout en gérant de multiples initiatives.
