Position : Commercial Account Manager

Reporting To : Commercial Sales Manager

Location : Ottawa, ON

CE is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC / R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. CE proudly distributes the Carrier, Bryant and Payne brands of HVAC equipment for the use in Commercial and Residential markets, as well as a full-line of aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories. CE has 36 locations across Canada. We are currently accepting internal and external applications for a Commercial Account Manager.

The Opportunity

  • Achieving agreed upon sales goals and increasing share of market for our Aftermarket Parts product lines and Carrier, Bryant and Payne Residential and Commercial Equipment
  • Seeking new customers and dealers to complement and grow territory coverage
  • Building strong client relationships and providing dedicated customer service
  • Actively expanding new channels of business and supporting retail initiatives
  • Introducing new and potential customers / dealers to WWG / Totaline and Carrier Enterprise
  • Providing quotes to customers and feedback market feedback to the organization
  • Keeping customers aware of product availability and the status of their orders
  • Providing product information to customers
  • Assisting the credit department in the collection of outstanding debts and the resolution of disputes with customers
  • Backup support to the Counter team as required
  • Provide weekly sales reports
  • Participate in the afterhours call out service provided to our customers
  • Arrange and support customer training with vendor support

What You Offer

  • Minimum three to five years of HVAC / R sales experience
  • Post-secondary education in HVAC
  • Organized, independent and persistent individual who has a strong desire to sell and succeed
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Computer literate
  • Refrigeration skills and knowledge
  • Proven negotiation, sales and leadership abilities
