Warehouse ClerkPosition Overview : You are a hands-on, organized individual who is willing to take on a variety of tasks in the warehouse. You enjoy keeping things in order and feel comfortable with basic tasks like fixing, assembling, or repairing equipment, when needed. You take pride in your work and help keep operations running smoothly.This role includes merchandise handling, inventory control, and ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall organization of the warehouse.We're looking for someone who is reliable, collaborative, and committed to maintaining high standards of order and customer service within a supportive team environment.DESCRIPTION OF TASKS :  HANDLING Ship and receive merchandise, including loading / unloading trucks and containersPrepare orders and follow up on pending or back-ordered itemsOccasionally deliver or pick up merchandise as neededHandle shipping documentationINVENTORYOrganize and manage stock, equipment and partsMaintain inventory records (stock room and tool room)Conduct semi-annual and annual inventory countsEnsure optimal inventory placementUse ERP or inventory software to track stock and support daily operationsMAINTENANCEEnsure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organizationPerform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and infrastructureOccasionally perform manual tasks (e.g., cutting filters, assembling parts, refurbishing used equipment)  SKILLS : Valid driver's license (obligatory)Forklift operator certification (obligatory)General knowledge of mechanical and / or electrical systems is an assetBasic knowledge of accounting or inventory systems is considered an assetBilingualism (French and English)QUALIFICATIONS : Excellent sense of organization and prioritizationProactive, with the ability to take initiativeComfortable performing physical tasks related to warehouse operationsGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work independentlyCapable of handling the physical demands of warehouse work (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, etc.)1-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., warehouse, inventory)Minimum : High School DiplomaEMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS :  Employment Type : Permanent, Full-timeSchedule : 35-40 hours / weekWork Hours : Mon-Thu 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm, Fri 7 : 30am-2 : 00pm (based on a 40-hour schedule)  About Les Équipements & Services Filco Inc. : For over 35 years, Les Équipements & Services Filco Inc. has supported mechanical and bodywork workshops in acquiring, installing, and maintaining their specialized equipment.
