We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator for an Edmonton based company with a solid reputation in environmental and residuals management in Western Canada and throughout the USA. This an opportunity for the right individual to showcase their leadership skills and their responsibility at ensuring all tasks are conducted with diligence and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Utilize a custom estimating tool (Excel-based) to perform cost estimates
- Analyze tender documents and prepare bids and RFPs
- Review specifications for take-offs and quantity calculations
- Conduct site visits during bidding phase
- Research and assess project costs
- Request and follow up on quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
- Analyze and compare received quotes
- Prepare preliminary work schedules
- Periodically assist project manager and directors with estimating additional work and other related tasks
- Participate in internal kick-off meetings to share relevant information about specifications, ensuring smooth project progression and profitability
