Job description
SCRAPER OPERATOR – Earthworks Construction WCL is looking for an experienced Scraper Operator who knows how to load, haul, and cut grade efficiently. If you understand dirt balance, work well with a spread, and can run a scraper the way it’s meant to be run, we want you on our crew. WHAT YOU NEED:
  • 3–5+ years experience operating motor scrapers in earthworks or heavy civil construction (single or twin engine).
  • Experience running single-engine and twin-engine scrapers.
  • Strong skills in self-loading, tagging up, hauling, and dumping material.
  • Experience with cut-to-grade and pre-grade operations.
  • Solid understanding of cut/fill balance and production efficiency.
  • Able to work closely with dozer, grader, and other equipment operators.
  • Safety-focused with strong job site awareness.
  • Willing to work long hours in all weather conditions.
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
REQUIRED TICKETS:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).
SCHEDULE:
  • 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch).
  • 12 days on / 2 days off (every second weekend off).
  • Weather dependent work.
