Job descriptionStrong communication and written skills in English and French are required. 2+ year experience in a buyer capacity is required. Certification in Supply Chain Management, APICS, or Operations is well regarded. Excellent computer skills with Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office experience. Knowledge of industrial products and distribution buying is considered an asset.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in buying materials for their valued customers. Responsibilities :
- Sourcing materials and items for customers, maintaining optimal levels of inventory.
- Maintain documentation, adhering to the established company policies and procedures.
- Update vendor information and delivery dates in computer systems.
- Issue purchase orders, review vendor order confirmations and communicate all information over to vendors.
- Expedite orders, resolve late or missed deliveries.
- Implement strategic actions for cost reductions.
- Check for errors in invoicing and orders.
- Foster and strengthen vendor relations.
- Communicate with all departments within the company.
- Adhere to company's health and safety policies and regulations.
