A leading global energy organization seeks a highly experienced Downstream Senior Strategist to join its Fuels Strategy & Capital Planning team. This role is central to shaping long-term business strategy, optimising capital allocation, and identifying key growth opportunities across the downstream value chain.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead scenario planning and downstream strategy development.
Conduct market research, special studies, and strategic analysis for executive-level decision-making.
Contribute to long-term strategic planning, including resource and capital allocation.
Engage with global think tanks and industry experts to stay ahead of geopolitical, regulatory, and technological trends.
Identify synergies and portfolio optimization opportunities to enhance business performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 15 years of combined experience in refining, chemicals, trading, or retail marketing.

At least 5 years focused on strategy formulation or scenario / strategic planning.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
