Project Scope

We are seeking an Epic Ambulatory certified analyst to support our customer in Canada during an Epic Implementation spanning 200 locations and 20000 end users across a northeastern province. The project replaces multiple legacy systems and includes a significant data conversion scope.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Epic Ambulatory Analyst to support Ambulatory build across various clinical areas. This role is critical to ensure Ambulatory workflowsincluding scheduling provider documentation orders clinical decision support and patient engagementare accurately built tested and deployed to support outpatient care across a broad healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

Build and configure Epic Ambulatory to support end-to-end outpatient workflows (encounter types visit navigation documentation tools orders and chart review).

Gather requirements and translate clinical / operational needs into Ambulatory design build and optimization.

Configure SmartSets / SmartTools preference lists health maintenance BPA / alerts In Basket pools and ambulatory security.

Execute testing (unit integrated UAT) troubleshoot defects and coordinate fixes with cross-module teams (Cadence MyChart Orders Reporting).

Support training go-live and post-go-live stabilization / optimization for ambulatory sites and specialties.

Qualifications

Epic Ambulatory certification required.

35 years of Epic Ambulatory build / implementation experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of outpatient clinical workflows and Epic clinical decision support tools.

Experience with Canadian healthcare clients preferred not required.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively on large project teams.

Travel Requirements

Approx. 1 week of onsite travel per month required during build and validation phases.

Onsite presence required for go-live support.
