Responsibilities
- Work closely with Tax Partners and senior staff on personal tax compliance and tax advisory engagements.
- Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings.
- Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
- Review assessments and correspond with the IRS, state authorities, and CRA on various issues.
- Build and manage client relationships at a senior level; deliver high quality tax service and advice.
- Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential.
- Support and mentor firm staff in respect of tax matters.
- Identify client service opportunities.
