Job description
We are in search of a PC Technician to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. The primary function of this role is to provide high-quality desktop support, managing tasks related to computer hardware, Dell Technologies, IBM, and Linux Technologies. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive desktop support, addressing issues related to Mac and PC computers, Dell / Samsung monitors, and webcams.
- Utilize Service Now to track and manage tasks and issues.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to manage a variety of tasks and shift priorities as needed.
- Engage with the team and customers in a social and interactive manner.
- Support Office 365 as required, although this is not a primary task.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer credit applications.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Install and maintain cable and backup technologies.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh operating systems.
- Utilize skills in AB Testing and Active Directory in performing tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PC Technician or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Computer Hardware
- Experience with Dell Technologies and IBM
- Familiarity with Linux Technologies
- Experience with Mac Computers
- Knowledge of AB Testing
- Ability to work with Active Directory
- Proficiency in handling Apple Devices
- Familiarity with Backup Technologies
- Experience in Cable Installation
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Windows
- Experience with Apple Macintosh
