Biomedical Engineering Technologist I

How Youll Make an Impact :

• Service install maintain and repair all medical equipment including but not limited to the following; medical lab diagnostic and electronic medical equipment safely and promptly
• Perform incoming inspections and testing on all new equipment and newly arrived equipment that has been serviced outside the hospital and maintain an uptodate incoming inspection and service record of this equipment
• Acquire the training and knowledge necessary to repair and service selected new and existing medical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks maintain PM records and participate in Department and Hospital Quality programs and initiatives
• Maintain competence by participating in hospital education and departmental equipment training programs
• Work with the other Biomedical Electronics Technologists and Hospital to ensure a safe environment for staff visitors and patients
• Project work and other duties as assigned
