Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our client's receiving team in Oakville, ON. In this role you will be responsible for handling, processing, and safeguarding large volumes supplies in a secure operational environment. This role supports the accurate preparation, shipment, reconciliation, and destruction of materials while ensuring strict compliance with security procedures and organizational standards. Ideally, you should be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and accuracy.

  • Pay Rate : $19.00 - $ 20.00 / hour
  • Location : Oakville, ON
  • Shift : 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm | Monday to Friday
  • Job type : Temporary | Full-time

  • Responsibilities :

  • Provide dual custody and control of banknotes
  • Prepare, ship and receive banknotes
  • Process and reconcile banknotes on high-speed equipment, and participate in their destruction
  • Examine parcels, and address and solve various operational problems
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the assets of the team and the Bank
  • Enter data into various operating systems
  • Make a positive contribution to the continuous improvement process
  • Other related activities and deliverables, as required
  • Qualifications :

  • Must hold a at least a Secondary School Diploma or GED;
  • Must complete a criminal records check
  • Written, Oral and Spoken communication skills in English;
  • Basic Physical abilities (lifting boxes up to 50 lbs);
  • Strong attention to detail and data reporting skills;
  • Light industrial experience would be considered an asset.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
