Assistant managers work 40-44 hours / week,typically OT during Nov and Dec.
Some stores will require the ASM to workovernight shifts during seasonal changeovers and peak periods at Xmas.
They can start as early as 5am in somedistricts
Must work 4 weekend days / month and close1-2 shifts / week. One will be Thursday orFriday. They still need to have openavailability as may have to cover Store Manager absence
ASM oversees the seasonal aisle, must be ontop of transitions and replenishment. Supervising staff on shift, scheduling breaks, cover at cash at times,receives skids, deal with vendors coming into store.
ASM must be GO-GETTER!
Hourly rates range from $18.25-19.75depending on experience and store volumes
Bonus Potential is $2900 / year max
