Based in Calgary, AB the Kinesiologist is integral in promoting our clients’ healing and improving recovery time. We believe when you move better, you feel better. This is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a Kinesiologist who shares this same philosophy.
The Kinesiologist plays a pivotal role in the employment program by providing tailored support to participants aimed at enhancing their physical health and well-being, thereby optimizing their readiness for employment. Leveraging their expertise in human movement and exercise science, the Kinesiologist collaborates closely with program staff and participants to develop personalized strategies for improving physical fitness, reducing barriers to employment, and promoting overall health.

Duties / Responsibilities
- Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and / or work hardening programs
- Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
- Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
- Connecting participants with appropriate community resources, available through the Government of Alberta, Federal Government Services, and local agencies and service providers
- Timely report writing, following current templates, guides, standards, and processes
- Record keeping and maintaining paper and electronic files
