For more information, follow Telesat on X and LinkedIn or visit www.telesat.comAs an Operational Support Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our network by contributing to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Operational Support Systems (OSS).
Main Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for OSS system from various stakeholders, including managers, users, and IT teams.
- Define and document OSS requirements, specifications, processes, data models and interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement OSS
- Work closely with vendors to evaluate and implement new OSS solutions and stay up to date with industry trends.
- Review and approve design and development solution documents, internal and external test strategies, plans and scripts
- Develop and maintain accurate and up to date documentation of OSS requirements, configurations, and processes
- Monitor OSS performance and conduct regular reviews of components, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support decision making and troubleshooting
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to OSS systems
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure reliability and accuracy
- Provide support and training to end-users to ensure successful adoption and optimal utilization of implemented systems
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend innovative solutions that enhance business processes
