Duration of the VIE : 24 Months
Purpose of the Job
- Support the AMER PM organization for execution of project, work packages, activities, documentation, reporting, and process improvements
- Project management role for IS&T infrastructure projects involving mainly Network (LAN, WAN, WiFi) and eventually Cloud Server and Storage, IT Security, End User Computing and related topics.
- Support the “Business as Usual” projects and new IT infrastructure efforts for multiple sites across the Americas region, mainly Canada and the United States.
- Actively participate in Integration and Transformation activities defined by Central
Responsibilities
Support the AMER PM organization for execution of projects work packages, activities, documentation, reporting, capacity, and process improvements
Active role in the planning and managing the implementation new IT infrastructure including : LAN / WiFi (Cisco), Cloud server and storage, and IoT Implementations
Facilitate the implementation of new or upgraded WAN / telecom circuits
Plan / organize / support the delivery of project activities in the region, as assigned, in accordance with the Global & Regional roadmaps, Governance process & standard IS&T operating model
Ensure that Project activities follow standard methodology, process and tools
Apply templates and records to document project activities following defined standards
Manage small projects, Infrastructure Service Requests and project work packages including :
Coordination and scheduling with stakeholders and delivery teams in a multi-cultural environment
Report Project status timely and following standards
Identify and evaluate the risks associated with project activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
Work closely with project team and stakeholders to identify and resolve concerns
Assume responsibility for on time delivery of project milestones
Create and maintain tracking databases and project reports
Work under the direction of the Regional Infrastructure Managers
Manage project closures and transitions to run activities
Perform related responsibilities as required
Educational Requirements
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering supported by experience of IT infrastructure or equivalent education and experience
Knowledge / Experience
Proven experience in IS&T project management.
General knowledge and interest for IS&T and Network / Infra topics.
Ability to coordinate multicultural diverse teams.
Working Languages : English, French, Spanish and / or Portuguese is a plus
Behavioural and Technical Skiils / Competencies
Knowledge :
Experience ideally 2 years experience working within IT domain with a focus on either infrastructure network and / or project management
Behavioural Competencies :
