Job description

SERVICES SOUGHT

The client is seeking the services of a Senior Project Manager level 3 with management consulting competencies to lead the modernization of EMRs across the RHA's community care settings province-wide.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, healthcare industry knowledge, change management,t, and technical expertise to drive the successful modernization of primary care delivery models. Responsibilities include project planning, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, risk management, change management, and training.

This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to ensure project objectives

are met on time and within budget.

The key deliverables and activities include but are not limited to the following :

1. Project Charter : Develop a comprehensive project charter outlining project scope, objectives, stakeholders, and success criteria.

2. Stakeholder Analysis and Communication Plan : Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop a communication plan to ensure effective engagement and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

3. EMR System Selection and Procurement : Lead the process of selecting and procuring the appropriate EMR system, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement activities.

4. Integration Plan : Develop and execute a detailed integration plan to seamlessly integrate the EMR system with existing client infrastructure and workflows.

5. Training Program : Design and implement a comprehensive training program for healthcare professionals and staff to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the new EMR system.

6. Quality Management Plan : Establish and execute a quality management plan to ensure that the implemented EMR system meets functional requirements, usability standards, and regulatory compliance.

7. Project Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, requirements, decisions, and actions taken throughout the project lifecycle, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change requests.

8. Steering Committee Presentation : Prepare and deliver presentations to the Steering Committee to provide updates on project progress, discuss key decisions, and address any issues or risks that require their attention.

9. Project Evaluation and Lessons Learned : Conduct post-implementation reviews and evaluations to assess project performance against key metrics and identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
