Closing Date / Time : December 30th, 2024, 10 : 30 AM EST Office Location : In Fredericton, Hybrid Contract Duration : Asap until 17-Dec-2027 end date (Possibility for extension and conversion to FT) Standard Hours per day : 7.5 hours work dayNote : Office space with current technology and access to necessary information will be provided in HSBC Place, Fredericton, NB for the duration of the engagement. The proposed resource is required to work at the office in Fredericton for the duration of on boarding to the project (approximately 3 weeks). After on boarding, the Department is willing to consider a hybrid work arrangement where the proposed resource will be required to work in the Fredericton Office a minimum of 2 days per month.
Deliverables
The key deliverables and activities for the RHA EMR Modernization Project Manager include but are not limited to the following :
Project Charter : Develop a comprehensive project charter outlining project scope, objectives, stakeholders, and success criteria.Stakeholder Analysis and Communication Plan : Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop a communication plan to ensure effective engagement and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.EMR System Selection and Procurement : Lead the process of selecting and procuring the appropriate EMR system, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement activities.Integration Plan : Develop and execute a detailed integration plan to seamlessly integrate the EMR system with existing eHealthNB infrastructure and workflows.Training Program : Design and implement a comprehensive training program for healthcare professionals and staff to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the new EMR system.Quality Management Plan : Establish and execute a quality management plan to ensure that the implemented EMR system meets functional requirements, usability standards, and regulatory compliance.Project Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, requirements, decisions, and actions taken throughout the project lifecycle, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change requests.Steering Committee Presentation : Prepare and deliver presentations to the Steering Committee to provide updates on project progress, discuss key decisions, and address any issues or risks that require their attention.Project Evaluation and Lessons Learned : Conduct post-implementation reviews and evaluations to assess project performance against key metrics and identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.The individual will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete the Department’s Privacy Training prior to commencing the assignment.
