Job descriptionMinimum one year of experience working in Claims. Effective verbal and written communication with all parties. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills. Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and organized. Able to work in a paperless environment. Capable of multitasking and juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

About the role
We’re looking for a Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our growing team!
This full-time permanent opportunity is based in Edmonton and Calgary.
What you'll do here :
- Investigate bodily injury claims to ensure a prompt and fair settlement.
- Make independent decisions, think creatively, and be able to prioritize the key requirements needed.
- Analyze documentation including medical history reports, police investigations and various other expert reports.
- Represent the company in the negotiation and settlement of outstanding claims with third parties directly or with third party lawyers.
- Manage claims through the litigation process.
- Participate in the management of loss and expense reserves.
- Evaluate settlement criteria for payment of claims.
