About Our Client:
Our client, located in Markham, is seeking an Accounting Manager or a temp-to-perm opportunity within a growing, project-driven organization. This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to operations and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements across multiple entities
Perform financial and margin analysis, including budget vs. actuals
Manage intercompany reconciliations and maintain the GL
Oversee A/R, collections, and progress billings
Support project-based accounting and revenue recognition
Handle indirect tax filings and year-end audit coordination
Develop reporting and insights using ERP and BI tools
Partner closely with operations and project teams
Qualifications:
3+ years in a hands-on accounting leadership role
Experience with Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics GP software is a MUST
Experience in project-based or contract-driven industries is an asset
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative
