Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies related to business objectives and expansion plans with New Car Dealerships and existing accounts.
  • Put in place an action plan to achieve the full potential of the territory;
  • Follow up on an action plan and report, on a regular basis, the current sales activities and issues of managed accounts;
  • Manage the activities of the designated territory in order to achieve the sales objectives of the company;
  • Assume leadership of the entire account development process, from identifying decision-makers to obtaining or renewing major contracts;
  • Establish and maintain a rigorous process for managing and monitoring account development activities;
  • Actively participate in corporate events involving your own territory;
  • Technically advise customers and prospects on the different brands of products offered by the company;
  • Maintain current knowledge of the tire industry;
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and share details with the team;
  • Create long-term working relationships with representatives and manufacturers;
  • Perform various analysis and review discounts, as required.
  • Export, analyze and interpret data from various sources
  • Develop and implement projects (data analysis, monitoring, awarding different prizes)
  • Close collaboration with manufacturers for developing their media campaigns
  • Collaboration with the graphic designer for the creation and production of promotional materials
  • Qualifications

    Background

  • 5+ years in B2B sales, national accounts, or enterprise partnerships
  • Automotive, tire, fleet, distribution, or industrial experience is a big plus
  • Clear track record of growing multi-million-dollar portfolios
  • Has managed multi-province or national programs
  • Understands pricing, margin, and vendor program strategy
  • Personality Type / Mindset

  • Strong executive presence and confident in boardrooms
  • Smart, structured thinker with real business acumen
  • Builds trust fast and plays the long game providing strategic value
  • Tough but fair negotiator
  • Steady under pressure and comfortable with complex deals
