Shift Work Hours : Monday - Friday (8) hours

Nights 11pm – 7am

PURPOSE :

This is to define the duties and responsibilities of Machine Operator Role.

Working Conditions :

Work hours will be 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, and rotating work schedule. Occasionally work maybe required outside of “normal” work hours. The work environment is located on the production floor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ensure finished goods are accurately labelled and packaged in accordance with finished product procedures
• Work to Health & Safety, Hygiene, & Housekeeping procedures within the workplace
• Ensure Quality standards are met and quality issues are reported
• Perform basic machine maintenance during daily performance maintenance cycle
• Understand fault finding and product changes
• Finished products are stored accurately in the appropriate area
• Ensure that product movement complies with the first in first out rotation
• Ensure that Pallets / Storage are clean and sufficient for packaging.
• Ensure damaged goods are reported to the Quality department and labelled (Hold) for inspection
• Inspect and be aware of the finished goods and question any defects noticed and report to the Quality department or the Team Leader
• Rework bad quality products
• communicate with Team Lead / Lead material Handler in regards to movement of products Any duties required by the management of the business
