Job Description
We are looking for an Electric Vehicle Technician to come join our growing team in Richmond, BC.
You’ll be responsible for servicing electric vehicles for our clients. This will include : supporting customers in training on the vehicles, onboarding and new deployments, troubleshooting, performing diagnostics, repairs and critical maintenance.
Strong electrical experience and knowledge will be required for your success in this role.
You will be provided with a service vehicle and all tools to perform your duties and be on the road most of the time travelling from client to client.
There is a fair amount of travel within the Lower Mainland, within BC and some required in Alberta and the US
This is a full time position from Monday to Friday working general business hours. OT is available, but not mandatory.
Wages range from $45-$55 per hour depending on qualifications and experience with excellent benefits and perks.
Required Qualifications :
- Red Seal Automotive (preferred)
- Experience working on commercial trucks and vehicles an asset
- Minimum 3 years experience working on electric vehicles
- Strong electrical knowledge and experience
- ASE Certifications an asset
- MUST be flexible and available to travel
- MUST have valid passport and be able to travel in the US
- Excellent computer skills (to perform diagnostics and complete work orders)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Customer service focused
- Leadership skills
- Full driver’s license and clean driving record
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
