Assistant Brand & Project Manager

We’ve been in business for 35+ years. Scope for the PositionThe Assistant Brand & Project Manager 8 months contract role - will be responsible for leading the execution of an exciting brand launch from creative, packaging, sales materials to project management of cross-functional team deliverables.

Your goal will be to increase sales and brand awareness through effective marketing plans and execution. Duties and Responsibilities : Marketing 50%, Project Management 50% allocation : Lead an exciting rebrand project of an important product line which includes Portfolio Management of 70 SKUs;
including but not limited to; new creative, packaging, internal administrative set ups, pricing, supply change, production, inventory etc.
Work with a creative agency from ideation to launch of packaging creative process, develop a brand style guide, proof labels, and ensure new packaging is delivered to meet established timelinesLead the creation and execution of the Marketing mix.
- Develop the communication & launch plan that will build brand equity and drive long term growth for the business; including but not limited to : consumer & retailer tools;
- POS materials; Sales support tools etc.Lead the discussions and project manage the launch from end to end ensuring cross-functional team deliverables are on time;
- Meet with stakeholders to determine brand objectives and strategies; External collaboration with manufacturing partnerPresent and execute creative ideas for marketing activities (PowerPoint preferred)Responsible for delivering creative work and launch deliverables on time and on budgetPerform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications;
- education, experience, training, skills, background and certifications : Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business or related field;
Understanding of the principle of marketing and promotions achieved through educationMinimum 1 year of relevant industry experience in a related role (CPG, HCP preferred)Experience in the health products or nutritional field is an assetNew product or renovation experience a mustHighly motivated self-starter with proven ability to organize & prioritize multiple tasksExtremely Well organized exceptional project management skills (or PMP or related certification)Ability to project manage multiple cross-functional teams and achieve deadlinesStrong relationship building skillsDetail oriented in particular, experience reviewing new product labels to ensure that Brand standards, claims and marketing copy are accurateExceptional Communication skills, verbal and writtenProficient in mining data, reporting data and recommendations in easily digestible formatsFamiliar / experience working with a marketing / creative agency on packagingExperience working with regulatory teams on food labelling is an assetCreative thinker, Team player, Innate desire to succeedMS Office applications exceptional use of Excel ( Gant charts a plus) and PowerPoint (PPT) Our Human Resources Team will be in touch if your qualifications match our needs.
