Summit Rental , a division of RSG International , provides road safety product rental services exclusively with specialized road safety infrastructure contractors in Ontario, Western Canada, and Manitoba.
The group supplies road safety devices such as temporary construction barrier and crash cushions directly to traffic safety contractors working on MTO capital projects, municipal capital work, and public private partnerships.

Job Summary Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Office & Quality Control Coordinator will process support the quality control, yard management, and asset rental to customer to ensure that business objectives are being met.
NOTE this role will have the employee working out in the field 75% of the time Responsibilities Review of returned and outgoing assets from customers, reporting any non-compliant assets.
Complete dispatch tickers for shipping and receiving as well as review load lists Oversee the repair of damaged asset returns, inspection, recertification for future deployment.
Determine the cost of repairs, purchasing used assets, categorizing state of assets. Review with Operations Supervisor assets to be stripped for parts and inventoried for future repairs and create a repair tracker Responsible for physical counts of assets in yards on an ad-hoc, monthly, semi-annually and yearly basis Update and maintain yard count tracking spreadsheet and other as well as potential others Update yard layout maps to review yard storage space Follow up with Precaster Packing slips and send to Administrator to issue PO to transfer to Summit Assets.
Crusher Cost Take Off and monitoring to evaluate yearly rate Take offs to rebuild Assets Crash Cushions Lead in deployment and return of Mobile Barriers and Lifting clamps.
Recertification of Lifting apparatus Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred. Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and dispatch processes an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with experience maintaining spreadsheets and tracking data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to supervisors and working with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills to coordinate with administrators, procurement, and operations. Experience using asset management or inventory tracking software is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings an asset Comfortable working in outdoor yard environments in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail in asset inspection, inventory counts, and maintaining records. Able to identify non-compliant assets and oversee repair processes effectively.
Ability to evaluate repair costs, track inventory, and analyze asset usage data. Experience in performing cost take-offs and understanding financial implications of repairs an asset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, especially for ad-hoc, monthly, and yearly physical counts.
