Position : Production Supervisor

Schedule : Monday-Friday - 8 hour day shift

Responsibilities

1.Health, Safety, and Environment Oversight : Responsible for maintaining health, safety, and environmental compliance on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to local standards.

2.Work Prioritization and Dispatching : Handle the daily dispatching and prioritization of tasks on the shop floor to meet customer requirements efficiently.

3.Engine Assembly Status Reviews : Conduct daily reviews of engine assembly progress, promptly addressing any build stoppage issues.

4.Booking Hours Management : Manage the booking hours for shop floor employees, optimizing workforce utilization.

5.Administrative Supervision : Oversee administrative matters related to shop floor employees.

6.Tooling and Equipment Support : Identify tooling and equipment needs and provide support for their maintenance.

7.Competency Development and Training : Develop competencies among shop floor personnel and identify training requirements.

8.Continuous Improvement Leadership : Actively participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

9.Union Relations : Maintain positive working relationships with the union by adhering to the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

1.Industrial Leadership Experience : Proficient in roles such as Production Manager, Supervisor, Lead Hand, or Team Leader within a unionized industrial setting.

2.Machinery and Tool Proficiency : Skilled in operating diverse manufacturing machinery and tools.

3.Effective Coaching and Leadership Abilities : Possess strong coaching and leadership skills, coupled with a results-oriented mindset.

4.Communication and Interpersonal Strengths : Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

5.Quality-Focused and Process-Aware : Committed to maintaining high-quality standards and well-versed in processes and procedures.

6.Self-Driven Problem Solver : Self-motivated and adept at efficiently solving challenges.
