Our client is looking for a Technical Support Specialist that will be based in Eastern Canada, to focus on on-site troubleshooting and installation support.

This person will be helping our clients’ efforts to continuously improve their operational efficiencies and their technical competence.

You will be supported by your manager and peers, contributing to the team's goal of maintaining and growing the installed PCV equipment in Canada.

This is a fully remote opportunity (but must reside in Eastern Canada) with extensive travel requirements.

Job Scope :

• Pump selections, cyclone simulations and understands milling circuits, flotation circuits, tailing applications and different pump applications.
• Mine sites and customers in Canada and identify needs in existing equipment to communicate with Regional Sales Managers and sell the solution.
• New opportunities to replace competitors' equipment and install our own.
• Regional Sales Managers with site visits to install, commission and troubleshoot Process and Mechanical issues with our Pumps, Cyclones and Valves
• Mechanical and Process training to customers on Pumps, Cyclones and Valves
• professional, clean, and organized reports to present to Sales and Customers.

Preferred Experience :

• Degree Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts OR 10+ years mechanical experience
• Years of experience as a Sales Engineer and / or in a Technical Services role
• Experience and knowledge working with pumps and cyclones in the mining industry.
• In effectively interfacing with clients and gaining credibility; developing and implementing project-specific sales strategies.
• Speak French and English is beneficial.
• Deadlines and works independently to reach them.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Position is remote 25% / 75% traveling across Canada.
• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
