Mechanical assembler (truck and trailer)
The production team has a place for you!
The schedule is from 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., Monday-Thursday. Friday from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. for a total of 40 hours per week
THE CHALLENGE
Assemble a wide range of mechanical products such as distribution systems, trucks or truck modifications, trailers, road trains, dispensing units or sub-assemblies used to manufacture transportation equipment.
YOUR DAILY
- Read diagrams / drawings or follow verbal instructions
- Consult electrical diagrams, plans and other technical diagrams
- Fasten parts by bolting or welding
- Assemble, adjust and install prefabricated parts to form sub-assemblies or finished products using manual or mechanical tools
- Place, align and adjust parts so that they fit and fit properly, and join cables, tubes and wires from diagrams;
- Operate an overhead crane
- Assemble electrical and electronic components and wiring to connect equipment or accessories
- Mount pneumatic components
- Make the modifications required on the trucks to install the tanks
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
- DEP in mechanics of heavy road vehicles or DEP in automobile mechanics or equivalent work experience
- Welding experience
- Experience in mounting electrical / electronic accessories
- Autonomous, resourceful, good dexterity
- Have a good sense of detail and an interest in manufacturing, building, installing
- Be collaborative and productive
- Comply at all times with safety and quality instructions
