Our team has an im med iate 12-month Co-op opening for an Engineer.
Responsibilities :
- Develop data driven AI embedding and workload-aware product data and metadata optimization algorithm.
- Perform system testing for high available and reliable data lake house solution.
- Develop problem determination solution and drive toward root cause identification and resolution on computational storage environment.
- Work as part of a small but high performance, startup-like team mainly using Python / C / Java for development.
The target annual compensation (based on 2080 hours per year) ranges from $56,000 to $79,000 depending on education, experience and demonstrated expertise.
Wh a t you’ll bring to the team :
- Knowledge and experience in AI / LLM, database, bigdata and storage system, operating system structures and transaction processing.
- Good understanding of file system, database fundamentals, such as, transaction management, storage engine, MVCC, SQL optimization, recovery, HA.
- Proficient in UNIX scripting and Python programming.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, JAVA, C / C++, and Python.
- Strong research capability and ability to learn new technologies / products quickly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
- Good analytics skills.
- Ability to handle complex tasks by assessing issues and breaking down problems to reach an optimal solution.
