We need an impact player! Frima is looking for a Director, Business Development to help take its business development team to the next level.

  • 4.5 days of work per week, year-round. (Friday pm off); Truly flexible working : remote, hybrid, or in person, the choice is yours;

What your weeks are going to look like

  • Participation, in collaboration with the vice-presidency, in establishing a solid business development plan for Frima and its various subsidiaries;
  • Development of sales objectives and KPIs in line with the company’s strategy;
  • Participation in the strategic development of the product portfolio and ensuring strategic market monitoring;
  • Participation, in collaboration with the business intelligence team, in the development of project business models and associated financial forecasts;
  • Management of the Pitch submission process, ensuring quality and monitoring indicators, such as the closing rate, to optimize sales and production;
  • Close collaboration with the business intelligence team to conduct market studies, identify targets, emerging markets, etc.;
  • Development and maintenance of strong partnerships with existing and potential key accounts according to targeted markets;
  • Establishment, maintenance, and optimization of a strategic network in the various served markets;
  • Participation in industry events and client visits to contribute to client relationships, results, and exceeding objectives;
  • Supervision of team members by providing vision, clear and ambitious objectives, coaching, planning, and regular follow-ups;
  • Establishment of a partnership culture focused on long-term business relationships by highlighting our sharp expertise and unique signature;
  • Ensuring, in collaboration with the Marketing team, a brand image and enviable market reputation reflecting our organizational culture;
  • Analysis of team performance by setting up measurement indicators, including sales objectives, customer satisfaction level, budget, and any other relevant indicators;
  • Structuring the operations of the department to optimize the efficiency of development processes and follow-ups in achieving the set profitability objectives;
  • Planning, preparation, and management of the department’s budget according to established corporate policies.

What we’re looking for

  • University degree in a field relevant to the job or other related degree combined with experience deemed equivalent;
  • Experience in the video game industry;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in his / her field, plus a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a strategic management position;
  • Good understanding of the video game development cycle, the various technical disciplines, and the industry;
  • Available to travel internationally;
  • Bilingualism (French / English). English skills are required as we work with English-speaking partners.
