Job Description : Responsibilities :
Responsibilities :
- Supports Client’s wide-ranging business information requirements, implementing and supporting business intelligence software solutions
- Develops and supports customized query applications that analyze key business data
- Develops and supports guided analysis and drill-down functionality, routine scheduling and notification of report generation, and effective implementation of opportunity and key-trend alerts
- Provides Clients with approach options and tools for managing business-related data in a manner that assists in quantitative analysis of progress and the relationship between operational actions and their effect on business objectives
- Conduct workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with clients on BI & Data Analytics Initiative
- Conduct data integration, data cleansing, data modeling, and analytics
- Develop feedback processes to fix corrupt data in the source systems
Technical Proficiency :
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge and expertise in various BI tools and technologies, such as data modeling, ETL processes, data visualization, and reporting.
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of technology including : Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI
- Expertise in designing interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop, including selecting appropriate visualizations and arranging elements for clarity.
Data Analysis Skills :
Exhibits strong data analysis capabilities, including data mining, data interpretation, and the ability to derive meaningful insights to support decision-making.
Business Acumen :
Understands the organization's goals, processes, and industry context, and can translate business requirements into effective BI solutions that drive strategic outcomes.
Communication Skills :
Effectively communicates complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and can collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions.
Must Haves Requirements :
- Experience in using Power BI and other data visualization tools to create reports and dashboards, perform data exploration, and manage datasets.
- Expertise in designing interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop, including selecting appropriate visualizations and arranging elements for clarity.
- Experience in performing DAX formulas and functions for performing calculations, aggregations, and custom calculations in Power BI
- Understanding of good UI design in delivering rich user experience by creating custom visuals and themes in Power BI to enhance report aesthetics and functionality.
