Intermediate Mechanical Designer

MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Intermediate Mechanical Designer in Kelowna, BC . Our client is a mechanical consulting engineering firm specializing in sustainable mechanical design.

They are a client-focused, collaborative firm with a team of dedicated professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Designing building mechanical systems including HVAC, pluming, fire protection, building controls
• System design calculations, equipment selection
• Interfacing and meeting with other design professionals for project coordination
• Preparation of contract drawings using AutoCAD
• Incorporate sustainable design strategies
• Computer building simulation modeling

REQUIREMENTS :

• 4+ years of mechanical, HVAC, fire protection design experience
• Client facing personality and communication
• Relevant degree or diploma in mechanical engineering (or one of the other disciplines), or architectural design and construction management
