Intermediate Mechanical Designer
MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Intermediate Mechanical Designer in Kelowna, BC . Our client is a mechanical consulting engineering firm specializing in sustainable mechanical design.
They are a client-focused, collaborative firm with a team of dedicated professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Designing building mechanical systems including HVAC, pluming, fire protection, building controls
- System design calculations, equipment selection
- Interfacing and meeting with other design professionals for project coordination
- Preparation of contract drawings using AutoCAD
- Incorporate sustainable design strategies
- Computer building simulation modeling
REQUIREMENTS :
- 4+ years of mechanical, HVAC, fire protection design experience
- Client facing personality and communication
- Relevant degree or diploma in mechanical engineering (or one of the other disciplines), or architectural design and construction management
