About this opportunity :

The Conventional Operations team is seeking a Sr. Coordinator of Maintenance Execution in Drayton Valley. This role requires a professional with strong business judgment, communication, and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The individual will lead Maintenance Coordinators, trades, and contractors, ensuring safe execution of work orders, financial discipline, and operational integrity.

They will collaborate with multiple teams, including operations, health and safety, maintenance, engineering, and finance, to drive success while staying informed on new technologies and continuous improvement in maintenance strategies.

What you’ll do :

Lead Maintenance Coordinators, trades, and third-party contractors during maintenance activities while ensuring safety, availability, and financial performance.

Develop systems and procedures to enhance maintenance execution efficiency and identify equipment failure causes.

Collaborate with Operations and Planning to manage workflows and prioritize work, including new and break-in projects.

Oversee asset health for large rotating equipment through oil sampling, vibration monitoring, and other analyses.

Foster Cenovus's safety culture by ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures and safe work practices while providing coaching during field activities.

Work with various stakeholders, including Maintenance Planning and Engineering, to ensure satisfactory team performance and manage vendor contracts.

Who you are :

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements :

Possession of a Red Seal Journeyman certification is an asset.

A Business or Technical Diploma, or equivalent training, is considered an asset.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance execution role.

At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity, either formal or informal.

Experience with project management is preferred.

Knowledge of oil and gas equipment is an asset.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
