Have you got what it takes?
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take on the responsibility of several projects within an organization.
You will be in charge of planning, budgeting, allocating resources, monitoring progress and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
Your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results from our clients.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other parties included in the construction project
- Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
- Obtain actionable permits from the appropriate authorities
- Determine all the resources needed (equipment, manpower, materials) with attention to budget constraints
- Allocate responsibilities to contractors, laborers, and other staff
- Supervise the work of all the laborers and provide them with guidance
- Evaluate the construction project progress and prepare reports
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
- Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
Here are the skills you bring to the team :
- A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Civil, Structural, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5 - 10 years of relevant construction project management related experience
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools (Excel, Word, Outlook.)
- Proficiency in MS Project
- AutoCAD experience is an asset
- Extensive experience motivating, leading and supervising a team of professional staff and to contribute to the work of the management team.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders and consulting with clients .
- Highly developed communication skills with all organizational levels.
- Must be able to work in a client facing environment.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must possess excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
