Schedule
The successful candidate must be available to work 8- and 12-hour shifts. The main shift for this role is 0730-1930, 0930-2130, 1230-0030, 1930-0730 Days, evenings, nights shifts and rotating weekends.

Patient care
In this exciting role, as a member of the interprofessional team, you will work closely with the Physician to provide care to lower acuity emergency patients.
In this position, you will utilize your strong clinical, patient teaching and communication skills in this fast-paced environment where our focus is on patient / family-centered care and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Current BCLS. Recent RPN experience in an Emergency Department required. Completion of an accredited college Coronary Care 1 program or proof of demonstrated current enrollment or equivalent required, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Previous experience in a fracture / plastic clinic is an asset. Previous experience in patient education, suture removal, dressing changes and assisting with minor procedures;

Proficiency
Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses. Medication Certificate. RPNAO membership is preferred. Excellent physical assessment skills.
