Position : Payroll Reconciliation Specialist Location : Markham (4x per week on-site - Friday's work from home)Salary : Up to $33 per hour depending on experience.
Job Type : Project - 3 months We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payroll Reconciliation Specialist to assist with the T4 reconciliation process following employee terminations.
The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas and pivot tables, and a basic understanding of payroll to effectively review and analyze T4 statements.
Responsibilities : - Clean up discrepancies arising from negative T4s following employee terminations.- Conduct thorough reconciliations to ensure accuracy in payroll deductions for T4 reporting.
- Review T4 previews to verify that errors have been addressed and corrected.- Run and analyze reports to confirm deduction accuracy for T4sRequirements : - Strong Excel skills, particularly with formulas and pivot tables.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and T4 statement lines.- Experience using a payroll software preferably ADP or Dayforce.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a new environment and learn new processes.- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the capability to work autonomously.
