The roleinvolves ensuring accurate data management across various financesystems.

Whatis in it foryou :

Salaried : $75 to $79 per hour.

Incorporated Business Rate : $88 to $92 perhour.

6monthcontract.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Hybridwork : inoffice three days per week at the Markham office withmandatory attendance on Tuesday and Wednesday plus one flexibleweekday.

Responsibilities :

Design develop and maintain ETL processes to extract transform andload data from diverse sources into financesystems.

Develop and optimizecomplex SQL queries and stored procedures inPostgreSQL.

Monitor andtroubleshoot daily and monthly job executions addressing failurespromptly.

Collaborate withfinance and insurance teams to understand data requirementsensuring data integrity andaccuracy.

Build reports usingQlik and other data visualizationtools.

Conduct data analysis andtroubleshooting to resolve datarelatedissues.

Implement data qualitychecks and validation processes to uphold datastandards.

Create solutions forcomplex finance calculations using PostgreSQL stored procedures orETL tools.

Monitor and enhancethe performance of ETL processes and databasesystems.

Document technicalspecifications and maintain comprehensive records of ETL processesand database schemas.

Stayinformed on the latest industry trends and best practices in ETLand databasemanagement.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or arelated field.

Proven experienceas an ETL Developer specifically with Informatica PowerCenter andInformatica BDM.

Strong expertisein PostgreSQL and database design with experience supportingfinance systems.

Experience withOracle Fusion applications including submodules such as accountspayable cash management and fixedassets.

Experience working withGuidewire Policy Billing and ClaimsCenters.

Experience withSnowflake and cloudbased datasolutions.

Proficiency withautomation tools like ControlM and ASG ZENA and scripting inUnix.

Knowledge of datavisualization tools including Qlik Python reporting and PowerBI.

Solid understanding ofaccounting principles including balance sheet and P&Lconcepts.

Understanding ofunderwriting data terminology within the insuranceindustry.

Familiarity with datawarehousing concepts and bestpractices.

Experience in Agilemethodology and familiarity withJIRA.

Informatica CertifiedProfessional (ICP) or other relevant Informatica certifications arean asset.

Guidewire professionalcertifications are an asset.

Familiarity with additional database systems such as Oracle andMySQL; SQL Associate Certification is aplus.

Excellent problemsolvingskills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability towork both independently and within ateam.
