Key Information :

• 3+ years of procurement or equivalent experience an asset.
• Must be able to develop and maintain consistent procurement standards and specifications.
• Hours : Based on a 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, Monday - Friday) Over time as required.
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
• Health benefits and vacation pay offered.

Job Description :

• Responsible for managing primary vendor contracts and securing regular contract tenders for efficient and competitive pricing.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining consistent procurement standards and specifications.
• Ensures appropriate policies and procedures are in place.
• Regularly strives to find potential cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Other duties as related to the day-to-day operations.

Experience and Certification Requirements :

• 3+ years of procurement or equivalent experience an asset.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work both independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education : Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
