Employee Relations Specialist Ford Motor Company of Canada, Canadian Parts Distribution Operations
The Role
Working with our team at the Canadian Parts Distribution Centres, the Human Resources Business Advisor will join our Ford of Canada Family fulfilling a 12-month contract / assignment.
You will play a central role in fostering an effective and inclusive work environment balancing both employee advocacy and stewardship that aligns with our Ford+ company purpose.
This contract position will be located primarily at our Paris Parts Distribution Centre where the team is focused on advancing our relationships with our customers and our Ford and Ford-Lincoln Dealer Network.
The successful candidate will also be required to support other established locations in Ontario and Alberta and travel accordingly.
Basic Qualifications
- University Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Some domestic travel required to support all Ford PDC locations in Canada, in Ontario and Alberta
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial Relations.
- Experience in a unionized environments is an asset.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplined HR department that includes the potential for cross-functional assignments in Labour Relations*, Human Resources Business Operations and Health and Safety.
