Robert Half is working closely with an established real estate company who is looking for a Controller to join their growing team.
This great opportunity is in the East end and it is a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain system to track all construction costs, reconciling to the general ledger and the construction module in Yardi
- Prepare annual CAM statements
- Prepare charges for annual interest distribution to ACH tenants
- Provide Full Controller functions
- Prepare and analyze Net Income Reports with Variance for the Sr. Operations Manager and VP's
- Reconcile utilities sub metering remittances / Calculate and record residential electricity HST input tax credits
- Prepare cash flow reports and distributions for the senior partners and owners
- Manage accounting staff duties / Conduct annual performance reviews

- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in accounting / Designated or enrolled in late stages of CPA program (must)
- 3+ year’s relevant accounting experience & CAM's exposure
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proactive, responsible, self-motivated, and organized team player
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective time management skills
