Job Overview We are seeking two (2) skilled Millwrights to join our manufacturing client's team located in Woodstock, ON.
Reporting to the Maintenance Leader, the Shift maintenance millwright performs tasks related to the proper functioning and repair of equipment for mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aspects, works in collaboration with the majority of departments and provides technical support to the production experts while following the rules of occupational health and safety.
Duties Acting as a mechanical expert. Performing all required repairs as well as preventive maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, and production equipment.
Ensuring that pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal and mechanical equipment is safe at all times. Fostering communication among team members and maintaining or improving team spirit.
Promoting a healthy and safe work environment. Answering service calls. Participating in the development and follow-up of the preventive and predictive maintenance plan in collaboration with the supervisor.
Participating in the planning of machine shutdowns with the Maintenance Leader. Participating to the back-up of the production to ensure the running of the machine.
Spending time on the machine in order to improve its running rate. Reading mechanical plans and drawings. Performing necessary repairs to buildings and ancillary systems.
Able to weld to make repairs and fabricate. Completing inspections of various equipment and facilities (machinery, buildings, etc.
Improving the reliability of the systems in place. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification (443A).
5+ years experience as an Industrial Millwright. Good knowledge of industrial equipment. Must have a drivers license. Experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.
Willing to obtain passport for potential out of country training. Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to quality work.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to train 2 weeks at a time in Montreal and then 2 weeks off after training, all travel and accommodations will be fully paid for.

82- $43.87 per hour to start Our premiums are : When you work a 12 hour shift on afternoons there is a $3 premium When you work a 12 hour shift on days there is a $1.
25 premium When you work on a rotating shift there is a $1.00 premium When you work on the weekend there is a $1.50 premium (saturday and sunday).
For example, if you work a 12 hour afternoon shift on Saturday. Your premium total would be $3 + $1.50 $4.50 on top of my regular rate.
